FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Pottstown Police Department Chief of Police Mark D. Flanders and Montgomery County District Attorney Bruce L. Castor, Jr. are pleased to announce the arrests of six (6) subjects (see below information regarding arrestees) during another High-Visibility Joint Drug Interdiction Initiative, that was conducted last Friday (12/16) evening, along with the execution of a search warrant at 60 N. Washington St.
Officers from the Pottstown Police Department,members of the Montgomery County District Attorney's Drug Task Force, the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office Narcotics Enforcement Team (NET), and with helicopter surveillance and support provided by the Army National Guard's Counter Drug Initiative all participated in the initiative and search. Chief Flanders again indicated that, "These high-visibility activities are designed to identify drug dealers in the Borough, disrupt their activities, develop intelligence for future operations, and to make arrests for drug violations along with crimes that have an affect on the quality of life in our Borough."
Thanking District Attorney Castor for his continued support and the Army National Guard for their assistance, Chief Flanders stated, "There will be more arrests as we continue to work toward ridding our neighborhoods of drug traffickers and improving the quality of life for all of our residents."

NYAKO PIPPEN (18 yoa - 414 N. York St. Pottstown, PA) - Act 64 (Drug Act) Violations
KENNETH BUTLER (57 yoa - 115 N. Washington St. Pottstown, PA) - Arrested on a Reading PA Warrant for Drug Act Violations in Reading
WILLIAM HENDERSON (59 yoa - 673 Walnut St. Pottstown, PA) - Arrested and charged with Public Drunkenness
IVAN BENEDITCH (25 yoa - 453 King St. Pottstown PA) - Act 64 (Drug Act) Violations - Resulting from a search warrant served at 60 N. Washington St.
BENJAMIN ROBINSON (49 yoa - 60 N. Washington St. - 1st Floor Front Apt. Pottstown, PA) - Act 64 (Drug Act) Violations - Resulting from a search warrant served at 60 N. Washington St.
BRYANT JONES (26 yoa - 3132 N. Taylor St. Philadelphia, PA) - Act 64 (Drug Act) Violations and False ID to Law Enforcement Violation - Resulting from a search warrant served at 60 N. Washington St.
